How To Identify a Verb that Needs -es To From the Plural.

Any verb ending in -s, -ch, -sh, -z, zz,  j, x or ss, add “es” to form a present simple third person singular. These rules to take note in order to identity which word needs “es” to from the plural form of the verb. Let’s go through some examples of these rules.

Examples

Brush = brushes

Rush = rushes,

Speech = speeches,

Church = churches,

Quiz = quizzes,

Buzz = buzzes,

Wax = waxes,

Fix = fixes etc.
